Your first session is always free. The cost is then £10 per class per block of sessions (between 5 and 8). Alternatively, I charge £13 for pay as you go. Payment is by cash or bank transfer. I offer a discount of 10 percent if you attend classes on more than one day.

Not at all! I welcome beginners as all of the exercises can be adapted to your ability.

Yes. I use differentiation to meet your ability and needs, so there will be more advanced elements of each exercise.

The classes usually range from 8-12 students. I limit my classes to 15 people, as it’s important that I can give everyone individual attention.

Loose comfortable clothing is best, such as leggings and a t-shirt. You can wear trainers for the warm up, but I recommend removing them for the mat work.

If you have one, great! But if not, I can supply one.

We will start the class with a warm up, which often contains elements of aerobics and balance.

As my approach is holistic, I may also introduce other bodywork techniques, such as a simple lymphatic drainage routine.

We then move onto mat exercises, which focus on flexibility, posture and strength. Throughout these, we focus on noticing the breath and the importance of connecting it to our movement.

The class ends with a simple cool-down routine and encourages you to digest what you have experienced and learnt.

Yes, I often work with resistance bands, Pilates balls, blocks and weights. I will supply these.

If you have an injury or health issue, you are still welcome to join my classes. But, it’s important that you tell me about any issues, so I ask everyone to fill in a health form when you join (any information you supply is confidential). Any exercises can then be adapted so that they are manageable for you. Ultimately, the onus will be on you to decide if the exercise is suitable for you or not.

How often does a cat stretch?! The more you practice, the better you will feel. I recommend once a week – and would also encourage you to build the exercises into your daily routine.
